Susurrus is a fictional mythical island realm in the southern Atlantic Ocean, its name derived from Latin meaning “a whisper.”
The main island is surrounded by 36 smaller isles and is known for its lush forests, fertile volcanic lands, and rare magical creatures. Only about a thousand people live on Susurrus, mostly along the eastern and southern coasts, in harmony with nature. An active but calm volcano, Ignifer, enriches the soil and supports diverse plants and wildlife.
The population consists of three groups: the native Sussuro, the shipwrecked Advenae, and the mysterious Sanctus who protect the island’s magic.
Although tensions exist between the Sussuro and Advenae, the Sanctus prevent open conflict. Latin is the official language, and the inhabitants worship Greek gods and celebrate ancient festivals.
Susurrus remains hidden from the modern world and reveals itself only to those who are ready to see it.
